Synopsis
“Akam” is the story of Srinivas, whose perfect life is turned upside-down, when a terrible accident traumatizes him. He continues to spiral into depression, until he meets the mysterious, Ragini, whom he finds irresistible and ends up marrying. Shortly after the wedding, strange occurrences prompt Srinivas to question his wife’s origins and he soon begins to suspect she is a “yakshi” or outer-world spirit. At work, his boss and mentor, CK is convinced Srinivas’s wild imagination is the consequence of his tragic accident.
